A racking cane with a stainless steel tip (3/8″ OD x 24″) is a long, thin tube used in homebrewing to transfer beer or wine from one container to another.The Racking Cane is made of stainless steel and has a tip at the bottom that allows you to draw liquid from the top of the container without disturbing the sediment at the bottom.

The depth of the fermenter affects the height of the racking cane. The amount of beer that will be transferred is controlled by the racking cane’s larger 1/2″ or smaller 3/8″ diameter.
